This issue entails 18 articles from the likes of Marco La Vecchia ‘22, Jacob Matos ‘23, Timothy Nguyen ‘23, Colin McGee‘22, Ramon Reid ‘23, among others. These features include world news updates, technology reflections, latest film suggestions, sports highlights, amongst other topics. In a very special way this issue highlights the recaps of the following special events that have taken place in our community: Why Be Hype About Salesian Volleyball!!, A Transforming Journey: The Salesian Leadership Retreat, The Madness of March, and What Is Starlink?
This issue’s cover article entails the revival of Salesian High School’s volleyball team. Marco La Vecchia draws from the glory days of his freshman year, honoring the history of the team and fully displaying his heart and passion for the game. It is in the praise and analysis of Salesian’s own team that the article reveals why we should hold pride over our athletic achievements. As a family, we must celebrate the massive accomplishments of our students. In doing so, we are encouraging the growth and success of our students.
The Spectator thanks the Salesian Community, our Faculty, Staff, and students who have contributed effortlessly towards the last several issues of the newspaper. Our goal as the Spectator is to ensure that our Salesian Community has the means and access to use their voices. Our prayers are with our Salesian Families at home and abroad, and we continue to keep those affected in our hearts. I hope you enjoy this issue put together by the men of the Salesian Spectator.
